Martynas Mazvydas National Library of Lithuania (NLL) designed Catalogue for publication interchange (LMK) on the bases of fund publications. LMK is constantly amended and its electronic version (in Lithuanian and English) and can be accessed by the interested users through LNB website. The beginning of exploitation of LMK is June 2005.
What publications are introduced in LMK? One can find useful publications (mostly liberal and social sciences) published in Lithuania, Poland, Germany, France, Great Britain, other European countries and USA. The chronological range of the LMK introduced publications: publications published abroad since January 1 1826, published in Lithuania – since January 1 1905, the newest publications published in the end of 20 century. The publications are published in Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish, Russian, Belarusian, English, German, French, Hebrew, Latin, Greek and other languages.
Who and on what terms one can choose publications from LMK? LMK introduced publications are meant for libraries and other institutions interchange.
How and to whom the orders should be sent?
After you choose a publication and fill in the order you can send it as an attachment to the e-mail or by a normal mail.
